Welcome to Vestib.com, a free resource dedicated to vestibular science, balance and dizziness

This site is intended primarily for Audiologists, but is also useful for Physical Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, and indeed any health care practitioner interested in balance and dizziness. It was born out of a desire for a single resource with in-depth coverage of multiple systems pertaining to how they relate to balance. To catch the less common disorders, to make the most expedient referrals, and to be most effective, the clinician must have a firm grasp not only of the inner ear of balance, but also of related systems and test procedures.

This means having a working knowledge of the brainstem and cerebellum, cranial nerves, extraocular muscles and vision, spinal cord, blood supply/pressure, and common antiemetic and antivertigo medications. The focus here will be on how each of the above factors work to keep your patients upright and oriented.
